The California Highway Patrol has requested help on a fatal hit and run accident . The collision occurred on 05-31-2014, on State Route 99. Based upon the evidence at the scene, the vehicle involved is a 2006 to 2011 gray Nissan Pathfinder. They are trying to inquire if any repair/auto body shops have performed any recent repairs matching this vehicle. The vehicle sustained damage to the right front headlamp, right front bumper, and is missing the wheel well liner for the right front tire. Modesto police are looking for a man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a teen girl early Friday morning. The girl, who is of high school age, was jogging west on Morris Avenue, just west of McHenry Avenue, when she was approached by a man with a handgun, said Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Heather Graves. He pointed the gun at her and forced her into a vehicle parked nearby, then drove several minutes until he pulled over in front of a vacant home in a residential neighborhood, Graves said. The man, a stranger to the victim, sexually assaulted her before dropping her off near Enslen Park, according to authorities. The victim walked home from there and called police. She was taken to a hospital and treated for her injuries. The suspect is described as Latino, possibly in his 20s, about 6 feet tall, 140 pounds, with hazel eyes and a 4- to 5-inch black tattoo on his upper left arm. He was driving a black two-door Acura with chrome rims. If you know the identity of the suspect please call.

Modesto Police are looking to identify the male shown here. He is believed to be the responsible in an auto theft and receiving stolen property case. He is a white male 5ft10 to 6ft 160 to 180 lbs with tattoos on both arms. If you know his identity please call.

Stanislaus Sheriff's Dept is asking for any information on this case. Sometime between the night of 5-29-2014 and the morning of 5-30-2014 someone went to Waterford High School and vandalized several of the locks causing several thousand dollars in damage. On 5-13-14 Modesto Regional Fire Authority responded to a residential fire. On arrival they located Jonathan Couch with second and third degree burns over 75% of his body. The incident is considered suspicious and is under investigation as an arson related attempt homicide by the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office. Case agent Det. Soria 209-525-7080.

Modesto Police are trying to identify the male shown here in surveillance photos. On 12/28/2013 around 6:05 pm the suspect robbed the METRO PCS store in Modesto. He is described as a white or hispanic male 6ft to 6ft3 230 to 300 lbs in his 30s or 40s. If you know his identify please call.

Stanislaus Sheriffs Department are trying to identify and locate the two subject's shown here. The suspects were chased off property near 26mile and Dorsey in Oakdale after stealing copper wire and trespassing.

Escalon Police is asking for assistance in identifying the male subject shown here. He is a suspect in two thefts that occurred at two Glacier Water Coin-Op vending machines in Escalon. One at Los Altenos Market (1602 Main Street) and the other at Rite Aid (2135 Jackson Avenue).

Ceres Police are asking for assistance in identifying the responsible in this crime. On Saturday, May 3rd at 10:21 PM gunshots were heard by officers from Ceres Police Department and calls came in reporting a teen had been shot in a drive-by shooting at the 1900 block of Hollister Street in Ceres. Officers responded and rendered medical aid for the victim who suffered from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for the life-threatening injury and is now in stable condition. The suspects were described as two males in a brown four-door vehicle, possibly an Acura or Honda. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the suspects is encouraged to call.
